About Us
Carl & Christine Chambers
In 2018 in Ontario and after being in Canada 12 years I decided to return home as I was missing the ocean and the pubs! After 4 weeks back in the UK I knew home was now Canada and 6 weeks after leaving Canada I was back. The day after landing I headed to Nova Scotia to buy a farm. One of the first people I became friends with was Christine.
Canada Day 2019 we bought a 9 acre farm in Baker Settlement to renovate, this was just before covid. It was a great price and I had enough saving's to make it a home. We gutted the whole house, and as soon as the kitchen was out, covid hit. No one would come to the house, delivery materials or anything, and as you know prices sored. That Winter we had no heat apart from our chubbiness! But as the years past, the renovations happened, we spent more time building the farm and l jumped from job to job as and when we needed money for work. In 2023 I went back to school so I could become a nurse and a military reservist medic, but life does not always go to plan. In September 2024 I went to college and enrolled on the "Motorcycle & Power Products Repair Course" The rest is still to come!
Carl Chambers
I worked on a educational farm when I was 16 years old teaching city folks about where their food comes from, I always wanted to work with animals but I also wanted to join the army like my father and brother. In 1989 the army won. I was to serve 16 years, which would of been longer but just before I moved to the army dog unit I had a serious motorcycle accident.
Christine Chambers (Zinck)

The last few years I've volunteered on 2 fire department as well as being a St John Ambulance Therapy Dog Handler main working with mental health, dementia and disabilities of various kinds. I recently left the 2 fire departments so I could concentrate more on the dog therapy.
